First off, it's been a very long almost 6 months of being closed due to COVID-19 and we are wildly excited to get back in the studio with all of you. As of September 1, 2020, NC Governor Roy Cooper announced that gyms are permitted to reopen at 30% capacity with adequate COVID procedures in place. WOOHOOOO!
Here is what you can expect when you come in our house:
Temperature checks at the door. Any person with a temperature over 100.4 will not be permitted inside.
Hand sanitizer at the door.
Masks are required at all times inside the studio.
A COVID waiver will be required for you to sign each time you enter the building stating that you have not exhibited any COVID symptoms within 14 days
Class size reduced to 5 students for silks and trapeze classes and 4 students for lyra classes to allow for zero equipment sharing in most cases for most classes based on student comfort level.
All equipment and mats will be sanitized after each class. Students have the option to additionally sanitize their area prior to class beginning as well.
Hand sanitizer pumps will be available in each teaching space. Sanitize your hands off!
6 feet of distance at all times. There are tape marks on the floor if you are unsure your safest location to stand.

Amy & AerialCLT Team
HOW TO ENTER THE BUILDING
Put your mask on and make your way to the front door.
Do not enter if someone is at the temperature table. Please wait outside until you are waived in.
Once you are waived in, your temperature will be taken.
If your temperature reads normal, you will be given hand sanitizer.
Once you have sanitized your hands, you will be asked to sign the daily waiver.
You will then move on to the front desk to check in for your class.
What do you use to clean the studio and equipment?
All purpose, spray this for basically everything except for black mats, black carpet mats and silks. Use for bathrooms, door handles, hard surfaces, red mats, lyra, trapeze bar. LEAVE ON SURFACE FOR 60 SECONDS, THEN WIPE. Ingredients: Hydrogen peroxide diluted with water for a concentration of 0.5%
Soft Surfaces that touch skin, so for black carpet mats, black mats, silks, trapeze ropes. Can also be used on trapeze, and lyra. LEAVE ON SURFACE FOR 60 SECONDS, THEN WIPE. In the case of soft surfaces that can not be wiped down such as silks, spray and allow to evaporate. Ingredients: Isopropyl Alcohol at concentration of 70%
Classes are only 60 minutes now, what gives?
This is what we are most disappointed about because we LOVE 90 minute classes! We have limited class sizes by 50% for all apparatus which means you will have an apparatus all to yourself. You will get the same great workout, just without sharing with a partner. There are so many of you we want to get into the studio, so shortening classes to 60 minutes allows us to have more classes throughout the day. This means we can still get you all in regardless of lowering our capacity and you will still get a great workout.
What is the plan if a student tests positive after being in the studio?
We will shut down In Studio classes immediately for a 14 day quarantine. We will alert all students who visited the studio within a 7 day time frame immediately.
When will Intermediate I, II and Advanced classes come back on the schedule?
We hope to get Intermediate II and Advanced classes back on the schedule in 2-6 weeks. We are waiting to see how everyone feels in the air and how quickly we all can re-condition. It's a moving target. We will not require any re-entry requirements. You will enter back at the level you left off before we closed unless you feel uncomfortable. We will re-start the most recent units (for Silks and Trapeze but possibly not for Lyra, we will let you know more soon). This is because its the most familiar to your bodies after the break. Then, we will get back to our regular unit schedules in October when the next full unit is set to start.
