What else to say other than a big nasty BLEK.

COVID has quickly changed the world in ways we don't even know yet. One thing we know for sure is we can't workout the way we used to. At least not for a while... In the meantime, we have got to find a new and that is what this message is all about.

There are many health reasons that may require exercise to be a regular component of your life. Physical as well as mental health may determine exercise an integral component of your well being. In a recent letter from the NC Attorney General's office in relation to Executive Order No. 141, indoor gyms and fitness facilities are permitted to be in use when that use is "prescribed by or directed by a medical professional". Your right to privacy is recognized and respected by us. In accordance with the Americands with Disabilities Act, you will not be required to disclose any medical information or disability. It is a violation of 42 U.S.C.A. 12203 for anyone to coerce, intimidate, threaten or interfere with your right to use this facility or to coerce, intimidate, threaten or interfere with anyone aiding or encouraging your use of this facility.

We know that we have always provided an outlet for our community to maintain physical and mental health. It’s time we get back to serving you, our community, in the best way we can. We vow to continue to serve you in the safest and most responsible way possible. Here is how…

  • Temperature checks at the door. Any person with an elevated temperature will not be permitted inside.

  • Masks are required at all times inside the studio and when maintaining 6 feet of distance is not possible outside the studio.

  • A COVID waiver will be required for you to sign each time you enter the building stating that you have not exhibited any COVID symptoms within 10 days and that you are entering to maintaining your physical and mental health.

  • No shared equipment. Class size will be minimized so each student has their own apparatus for their class. Mats and hard apparatus will be wiped down by students at the beginning and end of each session.

  • Hand sanitizer pumps will be available in each teaching space. Sanitize your hands off!

  • We will operate well below our legal capacity of 20% to insure students and instructors can maintain 6 feet of distance at all times.

Is this going to be comfortable? NO. Frankly, it's really going to suck to have to imagine each others smiles hiding behind our face masks. But over time, we will get used to it. Over time, we can hopefully shed this away. Over time, it WILL get better. In the meantime, let's fly.

  • Put your mask on and make your way to the front door.

  • Wait for the front door to be propped open. Do not enter if someone is at the temperature table. Please wait outside until you are waived in.

  • Once you are waived in, your temperature will be taken.

  • If your temperature reads normal, you will be given hand sanitizer.

  • Once you have sanitized your hands, you will be asked to sign the daily waiver.

  • You will then move on to the front desk to check in for your class.

I don't have a copy of my doctor's note. What should I do?

  • No worries! We don't need proof of your medical orders. They are confidential and your business.

What do you use to clean the studio and equipment?

  • To simplify, we will have just 2 different types of cleaners in spray bottles available in each cleaning section and clearly labeled.

  • All purpose, basically everything except for black mats, black carpet mats and silks. Use for bathrooms, door handles, hard surfaces, red mats, lyra, trapeze bar. LEAVE ON SURFACE FOR 60 SECONDS, THEN WIPE. Ingredients: Hydrogen peroxide diluted with water for a concentration of 0.5%

  • Soft Surfaces that touch skin, so for black carpet mats, black mats, silks, trapeze ropes.  Can also be used on trapeze, and lyra. LEAVE ON SURFACE FOR 60 SECONDS, THEN WIPE. In the case of soft surfaces that can not be wiped down such as silks, spray and allow to evaporate. Ingredients: Isopropyl Alcohol at concentration of 70%

I have online class passes left that I don't want to use, what should I do?

  • Please email us at and request the remainder of your pass be converted to account credit. However, we will still keep a handful of online classes running, so you may prefer to use them up. If we don't hear from you, we will assume you are happy with them as is and we will make no changes to your account.

Classes are only 60 minutes now, what gives?

  • This is what we are most disappointed about because we LOVE 90 minute classes! We have limited class sizes by 50% for all apparatus which means you will have an apparatus all to yourself. You will get the same great workout, just without sharing with a partner. There are so many of you we want to get into the studio, so shortening classes to 60 minutes allows us to have more classes throughout the day. This means we can still get you all in regardless of lowering our capacity and you will still get a great workout.

There are so many practice times on the schedule, am I eligible?

  • Times have changed, y'all! We are now opening practice times up to all students except first timers. Come in and get your practice on, just be sure to stick to material you have been taught in class with your instructor. The only caveat is you must attend at least 1 group class a week to drop in to practice time.

What is the plan if a student tests positive after being in the studio?

  • We will shut down In Studio classes immediately for the mandatory 10 day quarantine but will continue to host our Live Stream classes. We will alert all students who visited the studio within a 10 day time frame immediately. If no other cases within the studio were found, we will reopen. If other cases within the studio were found, we will reset the 10 day quarantine clock.

When will Intermediate II and Advanced classes come back on the schedule?

  • We hope to get Intermediate II and Advanced classes back on the schedule in 2-6 weeks. We are waiting to see how everyone feels in the air and how quickly we all can re-condition. It's a moving target. We will not require any re-entry requirements. You will enter back at the level you left off before we closed unless YOU feel uncomfortable. We will re-start the most recent units (for Silks and Trapeze but possibly not for Lyra, we will let you know more soon). This is because its the most familiar to your bodies after the break. Then, we will get back to our regular unit schedules in October when the next full unit is set to start.
